Staying and working in Saxony
Saxony has a lot to offer when it comes to finding a job and staying long-term. However, the
bureaucracy and laws seem to be overwhelming for international students. This online
information session will provide you with all the necessary information on legal regulations.
Our speaker Antje Pfeifer, who is working at the Expert Information Center Immigration
(Fachinformationszentrum Zuwanderung) will give you a short presentation on
"Myths and realities about the German residence law – What international students should know".
You will learn what you are allowed to do in terms of working, important steps to take during the process of finding a full-time job, and what to do in case you are thinking about dropping out of your studies. After the presentation there will be plenty of time to answer all your questions.
