Fusion 360 – From the First Sketch to the Finished Part

Richard Berbig/ Candeniz Kudu

This three-day workshop offers a practical introduction to Autodesk's Fusion 360 CAD program, guiding participants through the entire process from the first sketch to the finished production of a guitar fretboard.
On the first day, the basic functions of Fusion 360 are explained, and participants learn how to create a parametric model of a guitar fretboard.
The second day focuses on the CAM functions of Fusion 360. Participants learn how to set up the basic manufacturing settings and create a milling program for the previously designed fretboard model.
On the last day, the CNC machine and its operation are explained. Participants implement the milling program and mill the guitar fretboard from the raw material.
This workshop is aimed at beginners who want to build their skills in Fusion 360 to be able to execute their own projects from conception to manufacturing.
