In order for work to be fulfilling throughout one’s working life, experts are needed in the field of occupational safety and health who can take a holistic view of work-related processes and actively help to shape health-promoting aspects at important interfaces between people, technology and organization. The interaction of safety-related aspects, management techniques and the combined consideration of emotional and technical work characteristics guarantee a varied and attractive field of work.
The focus of the interdisciplinary course is on all elements that are directly linked to the establishment and operation of a company health management system to ensure occupational health and safety. This includes action skills for planning, implementing and evaluating safety and health-related measures, as well as the necessary methodological and social skills.
The offer is open to everyone who has a first academic degree and wants to deepen their knowledge in the subject area. The standard period of study is three full-time semesters, which can be shortened by recognizing achievements from previous studies.
