Occupational health and safety management (Masters)

In order for work to be fulfilling throughout one’s working life, experts are needed in the field of occupational safety and health who can take a holistic view of work-related processes and actively help to shape health-promoting aspects at important interfaces between people, technology and organization. The interaction of safety-related aspects, management techniques and the combined consideration of emotional and technical work characteristics guarantee a varied and attractive field of work.

The focus of the interdisciplinary course is on all elements that are directly linked to the establishment and operation of a company health management system to ensure occupational health and safety. This includes action skills for planning, implementing and evaluating safety and health-related measures, as well as the necessary methodological and social skills.

The offer is open to everyone who has a first academic degree and wants to deepen their knowledge in the subject area. The standard period of study is three full-time semesters, which can be shortened by recognizing achievements from previous studies.
