The job-concurrent Master's degree in "Occupational Safety and Occupational Health Management" focuses on healthy work as a key economic component and offers a cross-sector, future-oriented cross-section of topics. Safe work and health not only guarantee a fulfilled working life, but also create important advantages in attracting and retaining skilled workers and improving the quality of work and life.

The main focus is on conveying a holistic perspective on the evaluation of work-related processes and the active design of health-promoting aspects at important interfaces between people, technology and organization. The interaction of safety criteria, management techniques and the combined consideration of emotional and technical work characteristics guarantees a varied and attractive training and work environment. The focus is on acquiring the skills to plan, implement and evaluate safety and health-related measures, as well as the necessary methodological and social skills.

The range of courses is open to all interested parties with an academic first professional qualification (210 ECTS points - compensation through propaedeutic modules is possible) who would like to expand their own professional experience with action and decision-making skills on the subject of healthy and safe work with a master's degree.

The course is offered as an extra-occupational further education course. The presence phases take place in the form of block events, which are supplemented by self-learning phases. The standard period of study is 6 semesters. It is possible to shorten the duration of studies by recognizing achievements from studies and work.

In addition, all content will be implemented in accordance with the new SIFA training regulation, so that integrative training to become a specialist in occupational safety offers additional opportunities.
