About Armenia

Armenia is located in the Armenian Highlands on the southern Caucasus, a high mountain range, and borders Georgia, Azerbaijan, Iran, and Turkey. It is a small country with a long and varied history and an incredible range of landscapes, as well as millennia-old relics of the past. It has beautiful landscapes dotted with ancient monasteries, small villages and the traces of ancient civilizations in caves and on rocks all over the country. For example, the abandoned ancient Khndsoresk can be reached via a suspension bridge built by the people themselves. Armenian cities are lively with beautiful city centres for shopping and a fascinating culinary scene.
