About The University of Applied Sciences Zwickau

The University of Applied Sciences Zwickau (WHZ) is based in the automotive and Robert Schumann city of Zwickau. Founded in 1897 as an engineering school, it was re-founded as a University of Applied Sciences in 1992, which was later expanded to include locations in Schneeberg, Reichenbach, and Markneukirchen. With its disciplinary and cultural diversity, WHZ develops solutions for future mobility and makes substantial contributions to solving associated economic and social challenges. The interaction between people and technology is at the core of our interdisciplinary work.
