Forwarding e-mails as attachments

For many support requests, it is important that emails are forwarded as attachments so that all the necessary information, especially the email headers, are included. Only then can the path of an email be traced via the servers involved, the envelope sender address and any spam ratings.

Next to the “Forward” button, click on “More” -> “Forward as attachment”

Create a new email and drag the desired email with the left mouse button into the text field of the new email.

Mozilla Thunderbird

Click Message --> Forward as --> Attachment
