WHZ WebApp

Developed and provided by the ZKI.

The WHZ WebApp is available for all smartphone owners. The app is based on standardized web technologies and should therefore work in most browsers of the various smartphones.

There are 12 main functions available for the WebApp:

  • Timetable
    The first time the app is called up, the seminar group is selected via dropdown boxes in order to obtain the respective timetable. When the app is called up again, the last entry is used and the previously viewed timetable is displayed.

  • Canteen
    Current menu for the Mensa am Ring and Scheffelberg.
  • VMS
    Current tram connections between Zwickau center and Scheffelstraße
  • WHZ News
    The latest news from the WHZ homepage
  • Grades
    Current overview of grades after login (60 minutes delayed compared to the self-service functions)
  • Opening hours
    A collection of WHZ-relevant opening hours
  • Phone book
    Search function by name or telephone number (within the university). People found can be called directly via a link or notified by e-mail.
  • PC lab plan
    View the occupancy of the respective PC lab at the time the WebApp is called up. For free pools, the time is displayed in 30-minute increments up to 120 minutes.
  • Chip card
    The function shows the eSKo credit. You can also block your chip card and view the payout code that you need to pay out the credit.
  • Campus Map
    In the Campus Map you can get an overview of all buildings at the various WHZ locations. You can also use the menu to view the locations of photocopiers, validators and machines for recharging and rebooking.
  • Exam schedule
    Display of examination dates for a seminar group.
  • Book room
    Employees can use this function to check whether a room is available and then book/reserve it..

    You can use this function to change your password.
  • Feedback
    You can use this function to give the ZKI feedback on the WebApp.
  • Ticker
    If there are important short messages, these are displayed on the start page of the WebApp below the main functions. If there are no short messages, the ticker is automatically hidden)
  • Social Media
    Here you will find an e-mail client (Outlook Web Access), WHZ Facebook, WHZ Youtube channel, Instagram, XING and the library blog.

Notes on using the WebApp

JavaScript must be activated in order to use the WebApp.

Please note that costs may be incurred if you access the program via your mobile phone provider's mobile network.
